Hello. Melon Family! I am Kim Sunggyu who just released a solo album entitled “Another Me”~
Since I’ve always been seen with my INFINITE members, I think there’s a lot of people who don’t know Kim Sunggyu alone.
That’s why after worrying and focusing on my solo album, I’ve released Another me !
Today, I will show the Melon Family the precious moments I’ve spent while working on my first solo album and the shooting of my album jacket I’ve worked on even harder because I was alone.

Before releasing his album [Another me], INFINITE’s leader Kim Sunggyu pre-released a single of the “hybride music” genre, [Shine]. It’s a synonym of melodic dance music. As hard as it was to imagine what would be the kind of music of the one who always took care of INFINITE as the leader, [Shine] that was released on November 7th wasn’t INFINITE’s Sunggyu whom we’ve always known but Kim Sunggyu’s music only. Dream intro. The association of synth pop added by the synthetizer. An electronic beat and a rock-like drive guitar. It is safe to say that Shine that was made with Kim Sunggyu’s sexy and subtle voice control, is a hybrid music that has both musical charm and popular enjoyment.

As soon as the shooting starts, I look more serious but I’m a bit awkward too ^^ I can feel it, when I look at the pictures everyone on the set is chatting but when I’m posing in front of the camera, since there’s no one to crack jokes around me, it’s comfortable and awkward… It’s nice!^^ ㅎㅎ
Ta-dah!! When you change these images in black and white, they become cool right? I think it’s because there are a lot of warm and serious parts in this album so it feels like black and white images are going to fit more~ Everyone what do you think?
This time I’ve changed into brighter clothes and also got a new hairstyle~! This time, the photograph kept telling me “Do it more sexily ! More sexily !!!” so I remember panicking ㅜ_ㅜ Ah… Which picture is sexy??
In these ones, I’ve only put on a pair of sunglasses… is it okay if a person is this awesome? ㅎㅎ
Truthfully speaking, my eyes are my charm… but of course even if I hide my eyes I’m really cool!!! ^^;
Monitoring meticulously! I have to look at my expressions on each picture through the monitor in order to find out about my flaws. Since I’ve made a lot of different expressions during the shooting, there are lots of moments when I don’t know what expression is more fitting. During time like this, the monitor is life !

While I was promoting (T/N : as an INFINITE member) there was always a part of me and a kind of music I’ve wanted to show but I couldn’t.
Instead of a song we’d dance to, I’ve wanted to try a sort of music with sensible vocals that I wouldn’t be able to do as an idol. This really is a sort of lucky album to me. The seniors from our company, the Nell hyungs, really helped me a lot..
It’s the first time I’ve felt like this while working. Music is not just something that simply comes out and the more you work on music, the better it turns out.
The Nell seniors really helped me for a long time, just like it was their own music, and told me a lot of nice things.
Thanks to our best Sweetune team and Nell seniors who created the first Kim Sunggyu solo album, I feel like this will be a warm album to go through the winter weather that is slowly getting colder ^^ Since I will come to you with a different image~! Let’s make sure to meet on broadcast !
Also please love my title track “60 seconds” a lot~ I will become an even more hardworking Sunggyu from INFINITE!

[NEWS] 121023 – ‘Gayo Daejun’ Woohyun, “I want to do a collaboration with PSY the next time”
26 OctInfinite Woohyun has expressed that he wanted to do a collaboration with singer PSY.
Woohyun attended ‘Gayo Daejun-The Color of K-POP’ briefing session held at Seoul Yangchungu Mokdong SBS company building on the 23rd and revealed his thoughts on joining the collaboration.
Woohyun explained, “I really wanted to take part after I heard that the revenue of the collaboration’s song will be used to help the underprivileged neighbors. That’s why I think I’ll work harder. I also wanted to show that artists put in effort, that spills sweat and blood, to go up on stage once.”
He revealed the reason why he chose 2AM Jokwon as the member that he wants to work on this collaboration with was because not only his music but also because he wanted to work together with his filled variety skills. Although they’re not working together on this one, he said “Henceforth if there is a chance I also want to participate in a collaboration with singer PSY.”
The singers that are participating in this collaboration are Infinite’s Woohyun and Hoya, 2AM’s Jo Kwon and Jung Jinwoon, and MBLAQ’s GO and Lee Joon. Teen Top’s Niel and L.joe, Beast’s Lee Kikwang and Yang Yoseop are also participating.
They will each be in teams ‘Dynamic Black,’ ‘Dynamic Blue,’ ‘Dazzling Red,’ and ‘Mystic White’ and will work with producers Shinsadong Tiger, Sweet Tune, Brave Brothers, and Kim Dohoon. The teams will be confirmed through viewer’s voting on Nov. 4th on SBS ‘Inkigayo’ and the performances will be revealed on Dec. 29th through ‘Gayo Daejun.’

MBC ‘Lord of the Rings’ is rumored to be unsuitable for minors under 19 even before the first broadcast.
“Lord of the Rings,” the love battle between older women and younger men, is a love variety that combines the mid-age flower syndrome that was raised lately by ‘Gentleman’s Dignity’ and the flower boy drama ‘Boys Over Flowers’.

[NEWS] 120808 – Infinite’s noona fans, going all out with their vacation pay on rice wreath

The fans of the group Infinite sending rice wreaths to support them garnered attention.
To support the 2012 concert ‘That Year’s Summer’, the noona fans of the idol group Infinite who went all out with their vacation pay to send them rice wreaths drew attention.
From August 8th to the 12th, Infinite’s concert ‘That Year’s Summer’ will be performed at Seoul Gwangjang-dong AX-KOREA. In front of the venue, rice wreaths are packed to support Infinite’s concert; in total, there was 2.9 tons of rice, a quantity that can provide one meal to 24,000 children.
On the donation rice wreaths to support Infinite’s concert, the fans wrote funny messages such as ‘Protect noona! So she won’t get any older! (T/N: They remixed The Chaser’s lyrics) I’ll spend this summer at AX Hellgate, Noonapirit who went all-in with her vacation pay – Infinite’s noona fanpage, Noonapirit’, ‘That year’s summer I emptied my bank account to chase Infinite – Infinite supporters forever’ saying they gave up on their vacations and went all-out with their vacation pay.
During Infinite’s concerts in February and March, Infinite’s Korean and international fans also sent 9 tons of rice donations. Infinite donated 3.63 tons of rice to the Holt Children’s Services Inc. and 5.445 tons of rice for the One Love disabled infant home.
Moreover, to support the concert, 2,104 coal briquettes were donated to the Holt Daegu Social Welfare Center and to Gyeonggi-do Gwangju’s South Infinite Care and Happiness Sharing Center, through them, 100 coal briquettes (T/N: Flammable matter used to start and maintain a fire, like charcoal) were given to over 20 families with poor energy resources.
The 9 tons of rice donated were enough for 75,000 children to have a meal. Over 50 Infinite fanbases with thousands of fans contributed to donate and give a meal to 75,000 children.
In the old fandom cultures, fans used to give solely flowers and gifts, but now fandoms are sending rice wreaths and the beginnings of donating love rice contributing to the society. This change is now sweeping across in the entire fandom society.
On the other hand, in comparison to previous concerts,’This Year’s Summer’ is going to take place in a small and intimate venue and with 10,000 people in 4 days, raising expectations as a new type of emotional concert.
